Robyong lights in the Great Mosque of Demak used in 1923-1936 ad . The main room of the Great Mosque of Demak is decorated with robyong lamps or chandeliers found in front of the mihrab. The chandelier has a multi-tiered shape consisting of several lamps made of cast iron covered with Crystal.
The chandelier has a size of 150 cm x 170 cm. In addition to the front of the mihrab, the chandelier is found in the main room of the Great Mosque of Demak flanked by four soko guru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These lamps serve both functional and aesthetic purposes. The main function of this lamp is to provide illumination and lighting in the building. These lamps are hung on the ceiling and are designed to distribute light effectively evenly, eliminate shadows and provide visibility in the room. In addition, it has an aesthetic function, because it is made very elaborately and has designs and patterns that add to the visual appeal of the interior of the mosque. Furthermore, these lamps served as a symbol of the wealth and prestige of the mosque of bygone times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
