The library is one of the places to be able to obtain and develop information or knowledge managed by educational institutions, and is also an educational facility that helps smoothen the horizons of educators and learners in learning and teaching activities. the library is a place to develop information and knowledge managed by an educational institution, as well as an educational tool to help smoothen the horizons of educators and learners in teaching and learning activities. 

The library of the Great Mosque of Demak provides Reading Services ( in the library), borrowing services (in the library), and book Copy services (outside the library). Collection procurement was held in the period 1991 to 2019, with the number of collection procurement totaling 2380 copies, in December 2019, in the last 3 years totaling 70, from the Self-Help Ta'mir of the Great Mosque of Demak. Held in 2014 with the procurement of collections totaling 300 copies in June 2014 within the last 3 years totaling 300, assistance from the Central Java Regional Library. The library of the Great Mosque of Demak also cooperates with the Regional Library of Central Java. In the aspect of book assistance in 2014, 300 general books (Non-Islamic books) were provided.
