Former Soko Guru <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soko guru is the main pillar of teak wood that serves to support the framework and roof of the mosque. Soko guru was created by Wali Songo when he founded the mosque. There are 4 soko teachers with a height of about 17 meters each. The number 17 meters means that there is an obligation for us to pray 17 Rak'ahs a day and night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These four saka gurus stand firmly in the main room of the mosque which is constructed in four directions. Soko guru barat laut is a donation from Sunan Sunan Bonang and from guru timur laut is a donation from Sunan Kalijaga. While saka guru to the southeast, the contribution of Sunan Ampel and Soko guru to the Southwest is a contribution from Sunan Gunung Jati. Based on the story adapted from Babad Demak, soko guru made by Sunan Kalijaga is unique compared to three other teachers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Soko is often referred to as saka \u2018tatal\u2019 or poles arranged from wood chips by being nailed and tied into a large pole rod using resin adhesive. Once solid, the bond is removed and the texture is smoothed. These four saka withstand the load of the highest part of the roof. As for supporting the lower tajug, there are also poles around saka guru. Soko guru has a philosophy of four handles for Muslims, namely the Qur'an, Hadith, Ijma\u2019 and qiyas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bekas Soko Guru  Soko guru merupakan tiang utama dari kayu jati yang berfungsi menyangga kerangka serta atap masjid. Soko guru dibuat oleh Wali Songo ketika mendirikan masjid tersebut. Ada 4 soko guru dengan tinggi masing-masing sekitar 17 meter.
