Demak-tourist visits to the Great Mosque of Demak Lebaran holiday period this year ranks third in Central Java. The head of the Demak Tourism Office, Endah Cahya Rini, said that 131,903 people visited the Great Mosque of Demak during the period from March 31 to April 15, 2024.
“The visits recorded until April 15, 2024, were 131,903 people. 10 tourist destinations in Central Java, The Great Mosque ranks 3rd. Number 1 is still occupied by the Old City of Semarang, number 2 is the Sheikh Zayed Solo Mosque, and the three great mosques of Demak,” Endah said in Bungo Village, Wednesday (17/4/2024).
