Synergy for humanitarian action, Masjid Tanggal Bencana, Masjid Agung Demak held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD), in order to provide knowledge & equip the civitas of Masjid Agung Demak (MAD) to respond to disasters, which in the future can form a team from MAD to contribute to disaster management in the city and outside the city.
Also present KH. Abdullah Syifa’ (Chairman of the Great Mosque of Demak Ta'mir) who always gives direction to make the Great Mosque of Demak a comfortable place for worshipers, H.M. Afief Mundzir, S.Ag. M.Si (head of the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Demak Regency) also gave direction to the Great Mosque of Demak which is more advanced, empowered & also able to help the welfare of the people around MAD, followed by disaster prevention & disaster preparedness materials and also disaster response by Rezki S Soedibyo (head of prevention &Disaster Preparedness Preparedness BPBD Kab. Demak), followed by material on mosque management, mosques that have the power & empowerment of mosques by Ustadz Imam Faruq (Secretary General of the National KMP) & the last material on procedures for dealing with disasters by Ady Sumarna (DMC staff Dompet Dhuafa).
Followed by a joint discussion guided by the speaker, in order to find a bright spot for the progress of the Great Mosque of Demak in the future.
The FGD started at 08.00 WIB – 16.30 WIB without any hindrance,
